The 14th Anniversary of Haiti's 2010 Earthquake

Fourteen years have passed since the staggering tragedy of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake.

Today we mourn the loved ones we lost, whose memories live on in our hearts.

We honor the survivors, whose lives forever changed in the blink of an eye.

And we remember the power and importance of community as we continue to work towards a stronger, healthier tomorrow for Haiti, our beloved home.

Community is what helped us persevere after that devastating day in 2010. In the face of great adversity, Haitians came together to rescue survivors and provide medical care, shelter, and food. The diaspora organized to help their country in every way they could. And friends and partners from around the world extended their hands in solidarity and support.

Haiti has continued to face heartbreaking crises and tragedies in the years that have followed, and the challenges we are facing today feel greater than ever. But at every turn, our community has helped us carry on. And together, we are making a difference for the people we serve.

In honor of this solemn anniversary, may we continue to find solace and strength in one another.
